About the Item
Brutalist pendant lamp by Ferro Art (also known as Ferroarte), Spain, 1970s. Wrought iron and lead welded structure with multicolored pieces of Art Glass with differents textures and sizes, wich reminds us of the shape of a big top. Very much in the style of Longobard’s Brutalist creations, who was the competitor of Poliarte's glass creations in the 70s. Farmhouse style.
This piece is at the same level of excellence as the artistic glass creations of Tiffany Studios and La Murrina, among others. Mid-Century and Space Age style.
Lampshade measurements: 21cm high and 39cm in diameter.
Chain: 50cm high.
For one E27 bulb (compatible with E26 bulbs). Original electrical installation reviewed and fully operational, with new wire. LED compatible. Little wear on the hanging structure (see photos). Lampshade in perfect condition. A chain can be added to increase the lenght.
Note: the whole lampshade is a little bit delicate due to the lead welded unions, so better handle the piece with care.
Note: We always try to the fullest to respect and preserve as much as possible all the original elements of each piece (wiring, lampshade, finishes...) so as not to alter the original aesthetics and so that they can continue to have another life with their intact soul.
