Striking and sensual, this Murano ceiling lamp, designed for the renowned Italian manufacturer AV Mazzega, is a true work of applied art from the second half of the 20th century. It consists of 19 handcrafted glass discs in various shades of purple, ranging from deep amethyst to delicate lavender.
Each disc was created using traditional techniques by Venetian glass masters from Murano, giving the lamp a unique character and a slightly organic structure. The elements are suspended freely on an elegant metal base, allowing them to move gently with the air currents, creating subtle reflections of light and shadow on the ceiling.
