About the Item

A Cocoon pendant lamp designed in the 1960s for the Goldkant company by Fritz Wauer. Under the leadership of the legendary Fritz Wauer, the company pioneered this technique in the 1950s, before later companies like FLOS and the Castiglioni brothers copied the design. A thin steel frame coated with spray resin, creating a fiberglass look. The translucent resin provides a beautiful, soft light. It is in excellent vintage condition. Shade dimensions: Diameter 56 cm Height 15 cm Bulb not included. I sell exclusively used items. The items shown may exhibit signs of wear consistent with their age.
