Ambiguo collection is born from the exploration of symmetry and asymmetry. The study of light, shapes, and shadows help reveal an ambiguously symmetrical collection of light objects. The pieces embody many levels of geometrical balance and unbalance, depending on how they are perceived.
About the creator:

Mae
The studio was established in 2012 by Tauri Mae and Mari Saarepera, now known as Studio Saarepera
Mae. Tauri has a background in engineering, and Mari is a multidisciplinary artist. These two creators combine to form a perfect yet unexpected artistic double act despite their opposing personalities and qualifications. The duo runs a studio, creating sculptural lighting pieces. The artists also create commissioned one-off pieces to complement specific space or character. They work directly with their clients to create a full body of custom light sculptures.
