This chandelier, called Stimma, designed and entirely crafted in Italy, doesn't come from an atomic inspiration but a naturalistic interpretation. The central round core supports 12 juttaing metal arms encased in transparent colored glass, ending in an adjustable cup enclosing a white glass sphere containing the light source. Designed by De Bona and De Meo, its voice is a naturalistic definition: the natural impulse of spring blooms in an explosion of matter, color, and energy.
In botanical language, the word Stimma refers to the top part of the flowers which has a vital function during pollination. The structure of this light fixture recalls the flower components that expand from a central core into a complexity of forms and functions, and it seeks to be a direct connection with Earth.
Height of the body only: 44 inches
Options for finishes and glass colors, as well as for a smaller size and an 8-light version. In the same collection, are present pendants and sconces.
