About the Item
The Continuum Collection was inspired by New York’s vibrant street art. The structure utilizes custom bent tubes that can be connected and arranged in a variety of ways to produce a multiple styles and sizes. The hand blown glass shades are proportioned to accentuate the sculptural lines of the each model. Shades can be sequenced with contrasting glass colors and patterns or used as single tones for a paired down look.
Select from standard glass colors or signature color palates (see images). All colors have a range of tones – particularly for ombre shades – with no two shades being exactly alike. Please note that specialty color palates and finishes are only available through the studio.
Avram Rusu Studio is a Brooklyn based design studio known for impeccably crafted and distinctly sculptural work.

AVRAM RUSU STUDIO
Avram Rusu Studio is a multidisciplinary design studio known for distinctly sculptural work. Founded by architect Andreea Avram Rusu in 2004, the Brooklyn based company specializes in finely crafted and beautifully detailed products made in the US. The studio works closely with many New York based artists and artisans including glass blowers, ceramic artists, metal workers, machinists, finishers and wood workers. All pieces are designed, and prototyped in the Avram Rusu Brooklyn studio.
Metal finishes: satin brass, antique brass, satin nickel, oil-rubbed bronze. //
Standard glass colors: white, light grey, taupe, aqua, cafe au lait stripes, slate stripes, and topaz stripes, plus bi-color ombre fades in slate, raisin, and charcoal. //
Choose from the standard glass colors listed above or select a signature color palate (see images). Please note that specialty color palates and finishes are only available through the studio.
