Height: 71 cm (28")
Diameter: 35.5 cm (14")
André Delatte, born in Châtenois, France in 1887, first entered the banking sector before discovering his passion for glassworks. Inspired by his close association with the Muller Frères glassworks, Delatte turned to the world of glassmaking and established his workshop in Nancy in 1919. In 1921, Delatte built his own furnace in Jarville, where his company Verreries de l'Est flourished. His rare expertise in Art Deco glass design led him to create some of the most iconic pieces of the period, rivaling the great glassworks of Daum and Gallé.
Although his glassworks closed in 1933 due to economic difficulties, Delatte's legacy as a talented artist and businessman lives on. His work remains highly sought after by collectors of French Art Deco and vintage lighting. This chandelier is a fine example of his visionary approach to design, blending traditional techniques with modern sensibilities.
Perfect for accenting modern interiors and vintage-inspired spaces alike, this Art Deco pendant chandelier is a statement piece that embodies the glamour and sophistication of 1920s French design.
