About the Item

Found in the region of Normandy, France, this artisan-made iron chandelier features a scrolled design with a central acanthus leaf rosette painted in gold. Gold painted iron bobeches supporting faux candles wired for electricity and additional gold painted acanthus leaves complete the look. With its rectangular form and six lights, this iron fixture would be ideal above a kitchen island or dining room table. c. 1930.
