About the Item

Decorate a dining room, breakfast room or entry with this antique gilt wood chandelier. Hand carved in France circa 1920, the fixture is characterized by its intricate detailing and elegant curves. The central stem features a tall, tapering design embellished with carved foliage, including stylized metal acanthus leaves at the top. Six scrolling arms radiate outward in a balanced arrangement, each terminating in a candle-style light fixture. Each arm newly wired features swirling designs and floral motifs creating a sense of movement and refinement. The faux candles are fitted with bulb holders, mimicking the appearance of traditional wax candles, further enhancing the chandelier’s antique charm. The Rococo style fixture is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use and adorns the original rich patinated gilt finish. Versatile, the light could also be used in a powder room or bedroom. Measures: 27" diameter 37" height.
