About the Item
20th century Italian beaded crystal six-light chandelier, a lovely and romantic cage chandelier basket shape iron frame with gilded finish.
Six curved double beaded crystals arms ending with original flower shaped gilded iron bobeiges.
The iron frame reveals traces of original leaf gilding, handmade crystal floral creations in the shape of daisies and ornamental cabochons in clear glass along with gilded brass decorations combine to make this early 20th-century chandelier a unique and refined piece of Italian interior. A curiosity: the round discs placed in the middle of the lower part are golden buttons.
Festoons of crystal chains, ball-shaped, almond-shaped ground pendants and prisms enrich the workmanship of this chandelier making it light and harmonious aerial.
Good condition, fully hand-made in Italy in 1910s circa, new European standard wiring , suitable for six E14 light bulbs, ready to hang. Listed height of 80 cm refers to chandelier structure only, no chain included.
This artwork is shipped from Italy. Under existing legislation, any artwork in Italy created over 70 years ago requires a governative license for export called Belle Arti. The shipping may require additional 2-3 handling weeks to require and get the license according to the final destination of the artwork.
