About the Item
We were inspired by this beautiful quilted glass to recreate a period chandelier. This is the type of lamp used in early operating rooms from 1890-1920. The shades are in the shell style with an exterior brass/copper external snap in style frame. Each of the eight shades are 6 inches. The fixture makes an impressive 36 inch wheel. The lamp is a very old Industrial style and at the same time has a strikingly contemporary look. Amazingly the profile is only 8 inches tall and can work in shallow ceilings.
