About the Item
Finland and especially Helsinki has a lot of Art Noveau/Jugend style buildings. And as such Art Noveau style furniture and lighting fixtures are also abundant. Rarely however do we see such beauty and elegance as is evident in this example.
The combination of metal and different colour cut glass is just mesmerizing to the eye. Add to that the different ornamental touches that were exhibited in the art Noveau movements, and the result is a work of art in itself.
The lamp has a beautiful vintage patina on both the metal and glass parts.
