About the Item

In the manner of Louis XV Louis XVI, the bronze gilt pendant chandelier features deer head, floral, and fruit motifs. The central ceramic bisque cherub is flanked by seated bronze cherubs and torches with candelabra sockets. The central cherub is signed "E. Dubois." The cherub is attributed to Ernest Dubois of the Manufacture de Villenauxe, renowned for its refined unglazed matte bisque porcelain. The interior of the beaded crystal dome has three standard sockets. The chandelier includes four standard beaded bulb covers and five candelabra bulb covers. The chain is 120 inches.
