This fine fixture with reticello glass by Venini, with brass mounts attrbuito a Venini
The reticello, which translates to “small net,” is an Italian technique of decorative glassblowing. This method involves the use of canes arranged crosswise to form a fine net. When done in the traditional way, small air bubbles are trapped in a lattice between the crisscrossing rods.
