About the Item

Fine Swedish Jugendstil Suspension Light, circa 1910–1920 A rare and sculptural ceiling fixture exemplifying the Swedish interpretation of Jugendstil design. The body is entirely hand-hammered copper, showcasing a rich patina and artisanal surface texture. Three peripheral lights are discreetly embedded around the rim, complemented by a central downlight fitted with a finely cut satin glass diffuser. The fixture retains its four original ceramic E27 sockets and period wiring, all in working condition. The glass shades are original and preserved in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks. The canopy is suspended by three chains, contributing to the piece’s balanced and architectural presence. Dimensions: - Diameter: 50 cm (20 in.) - Height: 74 cm (29 in.) Condition: Very good original condition overall. Copper surfaces show authentic age-related toning; glass elements are pristine. Ready to install.
