Floating World by Ango is a sculptural handcrafted pendant light created from superfine extruded rattan, composed around a large geometric tetrahedral form that gives the piece its striking organic presence.
Produced entirely by hand in Thailand, each pendant requires seven days of work and 14.5 linear kilometres of rattan to achieve its delicate translucency and soft, diffused luminosity.
This large-scale piece (approx. 1100 mm W x 1300 mm D x 600 mm H / 43 in W x 51 in D x 23.5 in H) is admired for its warm natural glow and art-like silhouette, making it a favourite for both luxury residences and hospitality projects. Floating World is featured in renowned destinations including The Datai Langkawi (Malaysia) and Six Senses Vana (India), where its presence elevates entry spaces, lounges, suites, and calm wellness interiors.
The superfine rattan is meticulously wrapped and layered by Ango’s skilled artisan team, creating a surface of exceptional reflectivity and organic rhythm. The light filters through the natural fibres, creating a serene atmosphere suitable for living rooms, bedrooms, dining areas, wellness spaces, spas, and resort environments.
