Flos Ray Suspension Lights in Glossy Black by Rodolfo Dordoni
Part of designer Rodolfo Dordoni’s Ray family, the Ray S features the collection’s contemporary update on a classic shape in the form of a spectacular pendant light. The metal structure is chrome-plated. The lathe-shaped aluminum diffuser is available with painted white on the inside and shiny white or black on the outside; or gray-colored, blown- and overlaid-glass with glossy external finish. It features liquid paint protection. There is an opal blown glass inner diffuser, and the white-painted steel ceiling attachment is protected with transparent paint and a polished aluminum cover.
Inspiration behind the design: Offering a fresh perspective on an iconic shape, Rodolfo Dordoni designed his modern drum diffuser to resemble a lighthouse. “It is part lighthouse, part power pylon.”
