About the Item

This early 19th Century petite French chandelier is in the Empire style with a crystal basket motif. The gilt bronze metal frame has bows and garland swags in a charming design and style that transports one back in time. The three arms connects the bowl or basket shape body to the ceiling cup. Each strand is made up of graduated cut and faceted crystal beads. The chandelier measures 14.5 " in diameter and 17" height. Original wiring, holds 3 regular lightbulbs.
