About the Item

A stunning 6-light Gothic style brass chandelier from 19th century France. The dramatically styled fixture has a multifoil shaped ring from which the six lights rise. The base is harnessed together by brass rods, connecting to a brass sphere midway to the ceiling canopy, joined together at points punctuated by small brass orbs. Originally made to burn candles in a church, the chandelier has recently been cleaned, electrified and professionally rewired for US use, using UL-listed components.
