About the Item

A unique and most decorative French 19th century Louis XVI st. oxblood porcelain and ormolu six arm, seven light chandelier. The chandelier is centered by a fine topie shaped ormolu bottom finial with an elegant beaded wrap around band and lovely foliate designs. The exceptional oxblood porcelain body is encased with striking foliate ormolu designs. The three pairs of elegantly scrolled arms each display a striking foliate design center a crystal eternal flame. The chandelier is joined to the top canopy with three ormolu link chains. * Shades are shown for display purposes only.
