About the Item

A large scaled French 19th century Renaissance st. Wrought Iron chandelier. The eleven light chandelier has a bottom half round foliate decorated dome with a central bottom finial and a bottom interior light bulb. The dome leads upwards to a lattice design from where three protruding arms project outwards. The spiral designed arms have three individual candle cups and saucers above foliate finials and twisted rings. Each arm ends with a handsome dragon head and a twisted ring hanging from their mouths. The foliate dome is held by a series of twisted straight bands which are held by additional twisted rings. The twisted bars lead up to a top foliate dome with an interior light.
