About the Item

A country French 19th century wrought iron, gilt metal and Baccarat crystal chandelier. At the center bottom is a wonderful crystal cluster of amethyst crystals designed to look like a grape cluster. The chandelier with a wonderful scrolled open wrought iron cage has a total of twelve arms on two different levels. The 'S' scrolled arms with a gilt acanthus leaf below the scalloped saucer and circular candle cup. The arms are elegantly decorated by thick clear, smoked, and amethyst colored Baccarat crystals. The upper level has arms decorated the same all below a top crown with four crystals.
