Elegant French Art Deco pendant light with radial segmented shade in flower form, crafted from veined alabaster and brass, 1920s.
An elegant French Art Deco pendant light, sculpted in the form of a stylized flower and executed in richly veined alabaster with warm brass fittings. A refined and atmospheric piece, emblematic of 1920s French decorative lighting.
This French Art Deco pendant light dates to the 1920s and features a distinctive flower-shaped shade composed of carefully assembled alabaster segments. The natural veining of the stone creates a soft, luminous glow when illuminated, with each panel displaying unique tonal variations.
The fixture is suspended by brass chains and fitted with complementary brass hardware, adding warmth and contrast to the pale alabaster. The pendant is complemented by a matching alabaster ceiling canopy, creating a refined and cohesive overall appearance.
The balanced proportions and sculptural silhouette make this pendant suitable for living rooms, dining areas, bedrooms, or refined hallway settings.
The lamp has been fitted with one new socket compatible with E27 bulbs (also suitable for E26), allowing for modern and practical use while preserving its original character.
