About the Item
Art Deco high-releaf marbled glass pendant or lantern, France, circa 1920-1930. Art glass with a high relief rim with vine leaf motifs in shape of carved alabaster with beautiful black veins, suspended from three original hand-knotted silk ropes with tassel connecting to a old brass canopy. In the center a old brass E27 light socket suspended by a rope. It takes one Edison E27 screw base bulb up to 100 watts, providing a warm and pleasant light. This wonderful and rare piece is in good original vintage condition, brass with some wear, no chips or cracks, fully functional.
