About the Item
A magnificent Art Deco warm cream color alabaster pendant ceiling light fixture. France, circa the 1930s.
This beautifully shaped alabaster bowl in warm cream color tones with a flower-shaped finial is suspended by three ropes (wires) and an elegant brass ceiling rose.
The light shining through the cream color stone is warm and atmospheric and it emanates a beautiful ambiance both when lit and unlit.
One new socket for E27 (E26) size light bulb.
Dimensions: height: 50 cm / 19.68 in; diameter: 30 cm / 11.81 in.
It is in good condition with slight typical signs of use and aging of alabaster.
The light fixture is in complete working order, but as with all vintage or antique lighting, we suggest it be tested and fitted by a qualified electrician.
