About the Item
French Art Deco green glass and copper pendant chandelier by Loys Lucha from circa 1930s.
This beautiful pendant light features a lightly textured green and clear glass lampshade with stylized flower motifs on the clear glass part. Copper fixture and frame with two sockets for B22-size light bulbs.
The glass is signed “Loys Lucha” by Les Verreries d'Art de Loys Lucha.
Dimensions: diameter 49 cm / 19.3 in, height 42 cm / 16.53 in.
The light fixture is in complete working order, but as with all vintage or antique lighting, we would always suggest it is installed by a qualified electrician.
In good overall condition with slight signs of aging and use, and some slight unevenness on the edge of the glass.
Les Verreries d'Art de Loys Lucha was the famous glassmaker company of Louis Joseph Chaffard-Luçon (1880-1951), based in Boulogne-Billancourt near Paris, France, and specialized in enameled glass in Art Deco style.
