French Art Deco pendant light featuring richly veined yellow alabaster and brass details.
A refined French Art Deco pendant light, dating to circa 1920, featuring a beautifully carved alabaster bowl distinguished by deep, dark veining and warm, yellow tones. The bowl is shaped with elegantly undulating, scalloped edges, adding softness and visual rhythm typical of high-quality Art Deco lighting from this period.
The alabaster displays a striking natural pattern, with honey-yellow coloration intersected by bold charcoal-toned veining, creating strong depth and character when illuminated. The fixture is suspended by brass chains and fittings, carefully proportioned to complement the organic form of the alabaster without overpowering it.
A matching alabaster ceiling canopy completes the composition, echoing the material and coloration of the bowl for a harmonious and cohesive appearance. The brass elements show a gentle, age-appropriate patina consistent with original early 20th-century manufacture.
The pendant is fitted with one new E27 (E26 compatible) socket. It is suitable for a wide range of interior settings, including hallways, bedrooms, dining areas, or smaller living spaces where sculptural yet understated elegance is desired.
