French Art Nouveau pendant light featuring a richly mottled blue and orange glass bowl by G.V. Croismare, produced by Muller Frères, circa 1920s.
This refined French Art Nouveau pendant light, designed by G.V. Croismare and produced by Muller Frères circa the 1920s, exemplifies the movement’s fascination with organic form, color, and atmosphere.
The hand-crafted glass shade displays a striking mottled palette of deep cobalt blue blending into warm amber-orange tones, creating a luminous, almost painterly surface when illuminated. This expressive coloration is characteristic of Muller Frères’ high-quality decorative glass, lending the piece a strong visual presence while remaining elegant and balanced.
