French Art Nouveau green vaseline glass pendant light with an ornate brass chain, circa 1920.
An elegant French Art Nouveau pendant light, circa 1920, features a handblown vaseline glass shade suspended from a decorative brass chain and canopy. The distinctive greenish-yellow glass, known as vaseline glass, showcases beautifully swirled floral motifs and glows subtly under certain lighting conditions—an iconic element of early 20th-century glasswork.
This pendant is fitted with a new E27 socket (also compatible with E26 bulbs), ensuring full functionality while preserving its antique character. It is ideal for atmospheric lighting in an entryway, hallway, or intimate dining area.
Condition:
In good antique condition with light signs of age and use consistent with its period. As with all vintage or antique lighting, installation and safety inspection by a qualified electrician is recommended.
