About the Item
A refined French Art Nouveau pendant by Muller Frères Lunéville, featuring a richly toned pâte de verre glass bowl and sculptural bronze mounts, exemplifying the finest French decorative lighting of the early 20th century.
An elegant French Art Nouveau three-light pendant light dating to circa 1920, featuring a beautifully shaped pâte de verre glass bowl by Muller Frères Lunéville.
The pâte de verre glass displays warm amber and honey tones, enriched with deep aubergine shading and delicate reddish nuances, characteristic of Muller Frères’ refined glassmaking and organic Art Nouveau palette.
The glass is complemented by sculptural bronze fittings, finely cast with floral and scrolling motifs that enhance the flowing lines of the design. The suspension elements are visually balanced and architecturally expressive, giving the pendant a strong yet elegant presence.
The fixture is fitted with three E27 (E26) sockets, suitable for standard bulbs.
As with all vintage lighting, we recommend installation by a qualified electrician.
Condition:
In good, age-appropriate condition. The glass is well preserved with natural variations inherent to pâte de verre. The bronze elements show light patina consistent with age, adding depth and authenticity to the piece.
