About the Item

A most elegant and unique French late 19th century Belle Epoque Period Louis XVI st. Ormolu, Pressed Metal and Saxe Porcelain chandelier. This stunning three arm chandelier is centered by an Ormolu inverted acorn finial and gadroon plate below a latticed triangular base topped with a foliate and turned finial. Leading outward from the base are the three scrolled arms accented with acanthus leaves and finished with foliate bobeches and candle cups. Three scrolled fluted supports travel upward and create the baluster shaped cage adorned with Pressed Metal leaves and Saxe Porcelain flowers. Above is the exceptional foliate designed top crown. *Shades, Canopies and Chain shown for display purposes, sold separately.
