About the Item

French Louis XVI style gilt bronze four-light chandelier with glass by Degué French Louis XVI style ornate gilt bronze four-light chandelier, decorated with acanthus leaves and branches. This antique chandelier features three bronze light socket covers in the shape of big tiebacks, each hung on a laurel wreath, and one interior light that lightens the beautiful "pâte de Verre" glass bowl shade in orange and dark purple, signed Degué, the Degué signature in acid, of the manufacture “Verrerie D'Art Degué”. Four sockets for E27 (E26) size light bulbs. Measures: Total height is 42.9 inches / 109 cm, diameter 18.9 inches / 48 cm. The light fixture is in complete working order, but as with all vintage or antique lighting, we would always suggest it is installed by a qualified electrician.
