French Modernist Rattan Pendant Lamp or Lantern. France, 1950s-1960s
A cool handcrafted rattan drum shaped ceiling suspension lamp with wicker details to difusse the lightt.
This eye-catching rattan chandelier features a cylinder shape rattan hanging lamp with oriental inspired design. The cylinder structure hangs from a chain made of round rattan links. Topped by a wooden canopy. The length of the chain could be shortened to adjust it to the desired height.
It has been carefully restored and newly wired with beige twisted cotton cloth covered electrical wire and an E27 bulb holder.
It will be a nice addition hanging over a kitchen's table or dining area. Perfect for a beach house, countryside house or urban appartment.
