About the Item
This is an early example of a hand-made and classic Moravian Pendent. You can see the aged patina in the close-up photos. These lamps have a great look. The Moravian Star tradition goes back to German schools almost 200 years ago. These were originally used as a teaching aid in Geometry. The lamp uses an early style colorless seeded glass that is frosted. The frosting gives off an nice even glow and will picl up the color of the light bulb. This one has a 10.5 inch diameter.
