About the Item
Full Moon by Ango is a sculptural handcrafted pendant light created from carefully hand-selected natural silk cocoons. Designed as part of Ango’s Moon Series, the piece is conceived to deliver atmosphere and emotion through light rather than purely functional illumination.
Each silk cocoon is enveloped in an aura of ultra-fine translucent silk fibre, a rare material quality that gently refracts and diffuses the light. The result is a soft, moon-like ambient glow with exceptional warmth and depth, transforming interiors with a calm and poetic presence.
The Moon Series is developed in three distinct colourways, each intended to evoke a different mood. In its natural silk tone, Full Moon produces a refined warm white light that enhances architectural textures and interior materials, making it especially suited to boutique hotels, restaurants, lounges, spas, and refined residential spaces such as living rooms, dining areas, and bedrooms.
Suspended lightly in space, Full Moon functions as both a decorative pendant light and a sculptural design object. It reflects Ango’s material-driven philosophy, transforming natural fibres into timeless lighting pieces that bring serenity, intimacy, and a sense of quiet luxury to contemporary interiors.
