About the Item
German Art Deco Nine-Light wrought iron and brass chandelier with animals, the 1920s.
This impressive German Art Deco period chandelier features a beautifully shaped wrought iron frame, adorned with decorative details made of brass and patinated brass. Each side of the chandelier depicts one animal - a deer, squirrel/fox, and a bird.
Six exterior lights with sockets for E14-size light bulbs. Three adorable, flower-shaped lights on the top, on the canopy, with sockets for E27 (E26) size light bulbs.
Dimensions: height: 86 cm / 33.85 in; diameter: circa 60 cm / 23.62 in.
The chandelier is in good condition with slight signs of aging and use.
The light fixture is in complete working order, but as with all vintage or antique lighting, we would always suggest it is tested and fitted by a qualified electrician.
