Rare spare part for lighting designs by Japanese designer Motoko Ishii for German manufacturer Staff Leuchten.
Anyone interested in design is familiar with Motoko Ishii's impressive lighting designs. The wall and ceiling lights, cascades, and impressive chandeliers. An important and, unfortunately, fragile element is the screw-on glass ball, which protects the light bulb and makes it appear larger. The E14 light bulb, which is actually small, takes on the appearance of a globe light bulb. The transparent volumes, which are added to the complex chandeliers, for example, give the entire design a certain lightness. These spheres were available in partially mirrored, white satin, and clear finishes. Only the clear version is offered here. Larger quantities are available.
The spheres are in very good condition with signs of wear and patina.
