Beautiful pendant lamp designed by Gino Vistosi and produced by Venini, Italy, circa 1960. A refined example of Italian Mid-Century lighting, the piece showcases Vistosi’s mastery of Murano glass and his ability to balance sculptural form with atmospheric light.
The lamp features two cylindrical glass shades executed in vibrant red and soft blue tones, each displaying subtle color gradations and internal diffusion characteristic of high-quality Murano craftsmanship. When illuminated, the glass comes alive with a warm, glowing depth, creating a rich interplay of color and light that feels both elegant and expressive.
Suspended from black cords with brass fittings, the composition has a light, floating presence, while the original ceiling fixture adds to its authenticity and collectible value. The contrast between the vivid glass, dark suspension cables and warm brass details gives the lamp a distinctly modern yet timeless character.
