About the Item
Teardrop pendant lights for Temde Leuchten by Goffredo Reggiani, with opalescent glass that diffuses a soft light.
Goffredo Reggiani (1929 - ) founded the Reggiani Illuminazione company in Italy in the early 1950s. He began by designing decorative prototypes of luminaires that he produced through Temde Leuchten, a Swiss manufacturer that produced for Marianne Brandt and Louis Kalff, among others. He then called on artists, designers and architects to improve his production, including Gio Ponti, Richard Rogers, etc. His workshop went on to become an innovative industry with a worldwide reputation.
