Great shape and practical size alabaster 2-light fixture. Thanks to its perfect balanced and timeless design this alabaster ceiling light from the Art Deco era is among the more stylish models we have on offer. We have said it many times before, but an antique light fixture like this will truly light up both your days and evenings. The black veins, but also some of the more translucent veins and patches contrast even more when the light is switched on, because the already beautiful white alabaster then turns into a full moon like white. Thanks to its exceptional design combined with the original, matching and timeless alabaster canopy, this work of lighting art will look great in all kinds of rooms and in many types of interiors. We could shoot 50 more photos, but you still would not be able to see the true beauty of this shade, because in real life (or in person) our antique alabaster fixtures have that little bit extra and this stunning alabaster pendant is no exception. This good size specimen is even more beautiful, because of the diamond shape bowl (see image 2). This work of beauty was hand-carved from one solid rock of alabaster and this unique alabaster pendant is still in a good condition. It is as solid and strong as it was when it was first hand carved and polished over 100 years ago. The brass chains and the perfectly matching white alabaster canopy are like the icing on the cake of this antique chandelier. Mind you, this pendant is wired to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage in the USA as well and our US clients will be able to use two regular American screwthread bulbs of up to 100 watts each, easily. This light will also take LED bulbs. Thanks to the metal hook inside the height adjustable mint alabaster canopy, safely mounting this perfect pendant tight to your ceiling (and over your junction box) will take no more than a few minutes either and thanks to the chains we (or you) can also change the height to one that is perfect for you. This good size, good condition and timeless alabaster chandelier truly is great value for money. Rewired: This light is rewired to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage the world over and it will easily take 2 x 100 watt bulbs (LEDs as well). We have used 60 watt bulbs in our photos. Replacements made: A hairline inside the alabaster shade was professionally reinforced so that this striking alabaster pendant is again as strong and firm as the day it left the artisan s studio more than 100 years ago.
