About the Item
An exceptional Georgian style leaded crystal chandelier with 10 arms and four-foot length. It was made in the UK in the early 20th century. It has a complex, elegant design; a unique column with cut crystal "honeycomb" facets, a crown of multiple curling ropes with draping strands of round cut crystals with almond crystal accents, a crystal encased brass bottom bowl, and a large cut crystal ball finial. The arms are blown glass S-curved ropes with swooping crystal garlands hanging between them.
10 candelabra sockets. 48" height x 39" diameter.
Meticulous care has been taken to restore this chandelier with the finest materials and artisans. One rope curl and 2 arms have been replaced with custom mouth-blown glass. Candle cups and covers have also been replaced. Newly rewired.
