About the Item
Wonderful pendant lamp 'Carolin' model T549/3 designed 1963 by Hans-Agne Jakobsson for his own company in Markaryd, Sweden. A brass frame with a redressed original shade in off-white chintz fabric. Excellent vintage condition. Original canopy. The overall drop as well as the vertical position of the shade is adjustable, minimum height are 80 cm and maximum height are 170 cm. Three E26/E27 sockets, max. wattage 75w each.

Hans-Agne Jakobsson
Hans-Agne Jakobsson was a Swedish interior and furniture designer, who ran his own company from 1951. Jakobsson was especially famous for his lighting designs, which often had a softly glowing light and organic shape. His designs were inspired by great, modern Scandinavian designers such as the Finnish icon Alvar Aalto and Danish lighting master Poul Henningsen.
