About the Item
Large 1960s Hans-Agne Jakobsson for AB Markaryd pine chandelier. This is a rare chandelier made of pine veneer in a stepped tube design. This piece has a natural, warm glow when illuminated, and has a pleasing, rustic appearance even when its light is off. One E26/E27 bulb. New wiring and in a very good vintage condition. Height without the "pin" at the top are 38 cm.

Hans-Agne Jakobsson
Hans-Agne Jakobsson was a Swedish interior and furniture designer, who ran his own company from 1951. Jakobsson was especially famous for his lighting designs, which often had a softly glowing light and organic shape. His designs were inspired by great, modern Scandinavian designers such as the Finnish icon Alvar Aalto and Danish lighting master Poul Henningsen.
