About the Item
Wonderful pendant lamp 'Carolin' model T549/3 designed 1963 by Hans-Agne Jakobsson for his own company in Markaryd, Sweden. A nickel plated frame with an original shade with a beautiful cream/ivory raw silk fabric in excellent condition, no spots, tears or anything. Original canopy. The overall drop as well as the vertical position of the shade is adjustable, minimum height are 85 cm and maximum height are 145 cm. Three E26/E27 sockets, max. wattage 75w each.

Hans-Agne Jakobsson
Hans-Agne Jakobsson was a Swedish interior and furniture designer, who ran his own company from 1951. Jakobsson was especially famous for his lighting designs, which often had a softly glowing light and organic shape. His designs were inspired by great, modern Scandinavian designers such as the Finnish icon Alvar Aalto and Danish lighting master Poul Henningsen.
