About the Item

This chandelier is a copy of a model in the Hermitage Palace in St. Petersburg, in bronze with a finish in gold 18 carats satin. Its large number of lights and the finesse of its chiseled ornaments make it an exceptional piece. On a base in the shape of a cup openwork by antiquisite motives, come to flare up to the top of the chandelier garlands of laurel, finished by garlands of small falling palms. Two bronze crowns enclose this structure to carry the 112 arms of light. On the first wreath, candles are placed directly on cone-shaped cups. There are also arms in the shape of horns, decorated with oak leaves, which come to carry a flat cup on which a candlestick and two candleholders offer three lights. Finally, on the upper crown, arms adorned with plant motifs, in a serpentine shape, carry flower-shaped wicks. The whole, thanks to the alternation of curves and rectilinear movements, offers a balanced composition, rich in details. We have one chandelier in stock however we can produce them made to measure and in other finishes such as 18k gold, 24k gold, silver, black nickel (or any bespoke finish).
