About the Item

A Hollywood Regency gilt bronze and patinated bronze six-arm chandelier of ball form, designed with elaborate neoclassical motifs and refined sculptural detailing. The chandelier centers on a spherical patinated bronze body adorned with gilt bronze stars and a central flame finial at the top, representing illumination and energy. From the orb extend six gilt bronze arms modeled as swans with gracefully curved necks and outstretched wings, each supporting a candle-form light. The lower section terminates in a gilt bronze pinecone finial, completing the symmetrical structure. The chandelier is suspended from a decorative crown canopy formed of openwork gilt bronze leaves and anthemion motifs. Heavy reticulated gilt bronze chains connect the canopy to the central sphere, each link ornamented with applied rosettes. The arms, drip pans, and candle cups exhibit precise engine-turned patterns and fine chasing that highlight the detailed workmanship.
