About the Item
Midcentury chandelier pendant by Italian designer Carlo Nason for Mazzega, featuring his signature white to amber artistic hand blown glass globes. Five Murano glass balls surrounded by curved chrome tubes and connected by on a long chrome pole covered with wood.
Pretty soft light, very beautiful decorative effect.
A beautiful Murano chandelier, it is much more impressive in person, the height could be much shorter to almost a flush mount.
Mazzega Glass Factory is one of the Murano's glass factories created in 1929. Mazzega’s glassmakers and designers contributed to the diffusion of Murano glass in the 20th century throughout the world. This factory collaborated with several famous contemporary artists such as Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall, Jean Cocteau and Georges Braque. It ceased its activity in 1983.
