About the Item

A striking and substantial early 20th-century French chandelier in wrought iron with a rich patinated and gold-leaf finish. The scrolling iron arms are adorned with crystal beading and lavishly hung with hand-cut rock crystal prisms and teardrop pendants, catching and diffusing the light beautifully. At the center hangs a large faceted crystal finial, lending an elegant sense of weight and balance. Each arm is accented by delicate foliate motifs and candle-form lights that enhance the piece’s sculptural quality and craftsmanship.
