About the Item

This is truly a collector's item. Even though it was made in the 1970s, this lamp still has its original box. It was only taken out for taking pictures. Ceiling lamp designed by Ingo Maurer (1932-2019) for Design M, Munich, known as the SHICHI model from the “Uchiwa” series, crafted in 1973. Constructed with a wooden frame holding seven overlapping leaf-shaped fans made of bamboo and beige-colored rice paper, secured with brass clamps. Features an adjustable holder composed of cords, internally equipped with a socket and lamp holder made from bamboo tubes. Assembled Dimensions: Height: Approximately 120 cm (adjustable). Diameter: Approximately 55 cm. Condition: Shows minimal signs of aging, evident in detailed photos. The cardboard box exhibits wear from storage.
