About the Item

A very decorative Italian 18th century pressed gilt metal and crystal eight light chandelier. At the bottom is a lovely gilt metal Les Oves designed base with hanging pendants. Crystal garlands join to the central gilt metal band with foliate designs and large oval stations between each arm. The lovely S scrolled arms have gilt metal leaf designs ending with gilt metal bobeches. The arms are joined by crystal garlands centered at each arm with hanging kite shaped pendants. Crystal garlands continue up to the circular top crown decorated with gilt metal curved accents ending with crystal pendants. * Shades are shown for display purposes only.
